1. What are tash pops brushes made from?

The bristles are made from Nylon. The handle is acrylic and the ferrule is made of aluminium.

2. What are the advantages of synthetic brushes?

The most obvious reason being that no animals were harmed during the manufacturing process. Synthetic brushes don’t have a cuticle unlike natural brushes, therefore they are great to use with liquids or creams, as they don’t absorb product as much. This also makes it easier to clean synthetic brushes as product doesn’t get absorbed into the pores and cracks. Thanks to technology synthetic brushes retain their soft texture, this means your brushes last longer as the hairs don’t become sharp and pointy as natural hairs tend to do this over time.

3. How often should I wash my brushes?

You should wash your brushes at least once a week to maintain longevity and to avoid bacteria build up. Careful attention must be taken when cleaning your brushes. A mild shampoo suffices, using gentle circulate motions in the palm of your hand to remove all makeup from the brush. Rinse well and allow the brushes to dry completely before the next use. If you need a quicker drying time, use Makeup Remover. This can be bought at any makeup store.

4. Do you test on animals?

No. Our brushes are Cruelty-free! tash pops brushes are made from Nylon, these are manmade fibres.

7. Will my brush hairs fall out?

With every new brush you will lose one or two hairs with the initial few washes. This is normal, so don’t be alarmed. During the manufacturing process excess hairs didn’t fit into the ferrule of the brush therefore these excess hairs are not glued down causing them to fall out. After this no brush hairs will fall out. The only time you will see hairs falling out is if the brushes aren’t washed accordingly, or by using excessive force to pull brush hairs out.
